The Answer

The answer to Life, The Universe, and Everything is 42, according to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

However, you cannot find the correct answer without the correct question. And therefore, the answer to everything is "it depends" !

No matter what the question is, unless you specify and describe and explain your question thoroughly, you cannot get a precise answer.

So, if you wonder if social media is the new KM, or if you should buy iKnow for all your employees, the answer is the same: "it depends".

Should my employees, who never uses a computer at all in their work, get iKnow to increase their productivity ? No (probably)

Should my employees, who uses a computer all day and is stressed out because of information overload, get iKnow to increase their productivity ? Yes (probably).

Should my employees......it depends.

The Five Ws (and one H)

The maxim of the Five Ws (and one H) is that in order for a report to be considered complete it must answer a checklist of six questions:

What is iKnow ?
- an easy to use, but powerful tool for collecting small bits of information, connecting them and converting them into knowledge.

Why should I use iKnow ?
- because iKnow is simple, fast and efficient.
- because you're probably experiencing information overload (and the amount of information is increasing)

When is it useful ?
- whenever you need to remember some details about anything, iKnow will be your 'second brain'
- whenever you need some information, you'll find it almost instantly in iKnow (as long as you have put it there in the first place)

How can I get iKnow ?
- you can download a free trial and try it for 30 days.

Where do I get iKnow ?
- you download and purchase it from our website directly.

Who should use iKnow ?
- any knowledge worker who is experiencing information overload and wants help remembering all the small bits and pieces of information from e-mails, web pages, books, meetings, blogs, intranet, people etc.

The five Whys

The goal of the the 5 Whys method is to determine a root cause of a defect or problem.

The problem: Can't get anything done anymore

Why ? I'm too stressed out to concentrate
Why ? I'm experiencing Information Overload
Why ? Too much information from too many sources
Why ? I try to stay on top of things, but can't remember all of it
Why ? There is too many details for my brain

These were the questions we asked ourselves when we designed iKnow: We want to help you collect, connect and create knowledge from all the various tidbits you are bombarded with every day.

The answer: Try iKnow to help you manage information overload !
