Connect notes using Autolinks

Connect the different pieces of information to quickly find related information. To connect notes you use autolinking (automatic note-to-note linking), which is the most powerful feature of PpcSoft iKnow (especially with AutoPreview). Autolinking will automatically convert note titles into links and thereby automatically connect your notes. The conversion is dynamic, so if you create a new note named 'PpcSoft', the word 'PpcSoft' in every existing and future note will automatically be converted to a hyperlink to the note 'PpcSoft'. |

Example I

One day a coworker comes to your desk and tells you that you have been invited to dinner at the WhiteHouse because of your amazing work and winning personality.
Unfortunately, it is not decided if it is next week, next month or next year, but you get Mr. Obama's personal phone number so that you can contact him when the date is settled. |

A few months later, you finally get an invitation to the White House, but you're not sure what the dress code is like, so you decide to call Mr. Obama and ask him.
Unfortunately, the post-it with his phone number is buried among the 471 other post-its that are scattered around your office. Now, if you had stored the 'Obama' note in PpcSoft iKnow, you would have found his note (and number) automatically as you entered 'Dinner with Obama' into your '2Do' note. |
His name would automatically be converted into an autolink to the note 'Obama' as you typed it (and you could use AutoPreview to quickly see the number).
Example IIIn the example to the right you write Brain and then you create a new note with the same title..... |

| In your new note Brain you want to link back to the previous note, so you write back to knowledge in your new note.... |

When you press space (or period or comma) after the word knowledge, it will automatically be converted to an autolink (shown by being colored red and underlined)

If you click the new autolink to get back to knowledge....
...you'll notice that the previous word Brain, has been automatically converted to an autolink because you have created a new note with this name. |

Autolinking will automatically connect all notes that contain any note title, including all your old notes !
You don't have to go back to your previous notes and manually update them to link them to the new note - note-to-note linking is updated automatically
(and this is a unique and very powerful feature only available in PpcSoft iKnow).
You may use multiple words in the title, but the length is limited to 30 characters (so you may call the note 'Barack Obama' if you know several Obama's).
Autolinks (internal links to other notes) are red by default, while hyperlinks (external links) to web pages etc are blue.
