Easy to use

If you minimize the ribbon at the top (by clicking on a tab) you'll get the simple interface shown in the image below. (click for even easier example )

You will then mainly use two areas:
A: QuickSearch for quickly finding a note
B: Editor for reading and editing notes

You quickly switch back and forth between them by pressing the Escape key. Pressing Enter in the QuickSearch field will open the active note.

When you are finished, you press F12 to hide PpcSoft iKnow and that's it ! When you want iKnow again, simply press F12 again.

Basically, all you need to remember is F12 to show/hide iKnow and Escape to toggle between the search and editor - all changes are automatically saved for you.

C: When you need to create a new note, click one of the icons in the upper right corner (either keep current text in the new note, or create an empty note).

More functionality

You still have access to a few commands above the list and editor (from the left):

Full-text search: Click the icon to the left of QuickSearch to activate full-text search (or press Space when in QuickSearch field).

Back / Forward: Similar to a browser - go to previous/next note.

Undo / Redo: If you make a mistake, undo the operation.

Find text: Search for text inside the note (incremental search).

You don't have to create many notes either for PpcSoft iKnow to be very useful !
