Full-Text Search (Search 2 of 3)
|
The Full-Text Search is the second search type. It is used to find text across all notes. If you enter a search word that is not a title in the quick search field, it will turn black to indicate that the title is unknown and you are ready for a full-text search. All you have to do to perform a full-text search is press Ctrl+Space (or Enter as long as the quick search is black) The results of the full-text search will be shown in a special mode, separate from the ordinary notes view. You may enter additional search words to improve the search. The 50 best results will be shown, and you can view a preview of the results in the window to the right. The search-word(s) will be automatically highlighted and scrolled into view. Double-click a result or press Enterto open a note, or press Escape to return to the quick search normal mode. |
