Data format

PpcSoft iKnow uses a custom, simple text-based format which can be edited directly in any unicode-capable text editor, on any platform. This means that companies can easily create backups and create custom tools that interact with the data if they want to.

An open, simple format also means that there is no lock-in of your data.

Installation

PpcSoft iKnow is a native Win32 application, which means that it does not need any additional installations like the .Net Framework or Java runtime.

PpcSoft iKnow can be silently installed using MSI for easy deployment.

License and registration

Our license and registration system is also made as simple as possible for corporations. We don't require named users, but rather use the company as owner and a single registration for the company (for personal use the owner is a named user).
