Collecting information in 5 easy steps

If you have already entered a name in the QuickSearch edit box (like this example), the 'New Note' dialog will automatically use the name as a suggested new title.

If you haven't entered a name (or selected a word in the editor) a name will be auto-generated for you.

The format is 'Note_yyyy_mmdd_hhmm' and is chosen because of the alphabetic listing of names.

The dialog will verify your name for you, to ensure that is is not already used or contains any invalid characters.
